The Golden Wings Parachute Team Foundation was formed to honor the courage and sacrifice of all members of the Armed Forces of the United States who have served to preserve the liberty and freedom that many Americans take for granted. The Golden Wings also serves to educate the general public about the current equipment and some of the capabilities of our Special Operation Forces and specifically our High Altitude Low Opening-High Altitude High Opening (HALO/HAHO) elite forces currently serving with distinction throughout the world to fight terrorism whenever and wherever it manifests itself.
The Golden Wings Parachute Team performs its mission by executing exhibition parachute jumps at veteran's reunions, patriotic events, air shows, and other public gatherings from a variety of jump platforms. At access to the Golden Wings Parachute Team are a vintage WWII C47 and other jump platforms.
It is the goal of the Golden Wings Parachute Team not only to entertain but also educate the general public by performing exhibition jumps and providing static displays of current issue Special Operations Forces equipment throughout the United States and the world.
